Rastgar and its employees gear up for Flood Relief

With the worst ever flood in the country's history, thousands of people have lost their lives and 20 million people have been forced to leave their homes.

Rastgar Foundation has a history of relief efforts in times of need with the company and employees rallying together to provide support.

As always, Rastgar employees have also shown keen interest in volunteering with their time, money and energy in times of disaster. Whether it was earthquake in 2005, the crisis of IDPs (Internally Displaced People) in 2008 and now the Floods, RASTGAR and its employees have shown a resolve to contribute in whatever way it can.
As usual, our employees have already begun volunteering and working with Rastgar Foundation, providing assistance in assessment and distribution in the affected areas.
The company and its directors have already committed financial resources to this noble cause. So far 5,000 six litre water bottles and food have been distributed to flood victims in different villages around Noshera and Charsadda.
Rastgar employees are also being encouraged to donate to this relief effort from their salaries. Rastgar Engineering Company has decided to match each employee’s contribution three times over for this great cause.
The idea is to join together in this effort to provide relief to our flood effected brothers and sisters.
